I already skipped the second of my recs posts on Sunday, because I read all of one(!) story last week. And no books. But I listened to a few podfics, maybe I'll include those, too.
My mom is a teacher. Yesterday there were rumors at the school of a student planning an attack, so, after last week's tragedy, the school was shut down, the students sent home til next Monday. My mom said she didn't believe it was true, since her students "just aren't intelligent enough". I have to agree. She works in a school for learning impaired going towards even slightly mentally impaired students (age 16 and up). And they probably just wouldn't be able to plan something like that. But of course after last week everything is taken very seriously.
Anyway, as a result, mom has three days of unexpected vacation, and we're going shopping.
Made some icons yesterday, but I'm not sure yet if I'm content with this one...
