Happy JuC day!

I'm afraid I don't have anything to contribute to the celebration. I don't even have a JuC icon uploaded. However did I ever think I could survive with *checks* 48 icons? But it'll have to do until November.

I want to buy a new camera for Peru, and after much snooping around in other people's posts and rikes reccing the one she takes

Nope, no used one there, unfortunately. And I'm leaving in roughly a month, so I don't have time to wait until one pops up eventually.

It's hard to imagine two succeeding models would be *that* different from each other... but good luck!

It's mostly the image quality. Apparently higher megapixels affect the amount of noise on a picture, especially when taken with low light (which is the main reason why I want a new camera in the first place). It's a problem (almost) all new cameras have. If it wasn't for that, I would've bougth the 720 model.

And it's looking good so far, but there's still two hours left to bid on the first one.
