Happy JuC day!
I'm afraid I don't have anything to contribute to the celebration. I don't even have a JuC icon uploaded. However did I ever think I could survive with *checks* 48 icons? But it'll have to do until November.
I want to buy a new camera for Peru, and after much snooping around in other people's posts and rikes reccing the one she takes her own gorgous pictures with, and consulting the magazine of Stiftung Warentest, an organization that tests everything (and I mean everything, from condoms to washing machines), I finally set my mind on a Canon PowerShot A710 IS. The problem is that this particular model isn't sold anymore. And the succeeding model, according to the test, isn't that good. Of course there's always ebay, but I'd prefer a new one to a used one, and prices are almost the same, actually. Hm, what do do, what to do... ETA: Trying ebay now and keeping my fingers crossed.
