The book of shadows? *snicker*
I know, that made me giggle. Heeeeeee.

This whole thing about Dean going to hell worries me! I am upset! They better not go the route of, hey, we'll send Dean to hell and then he can be a demon and fight on Sam's side or something. I'd like my Dean human, thank you. I don't really have any reason to think they would do that, but it just occurred to me during this episode and I don't like it one bit.

Oh Winchesters, what you do to me. :/

I'm one of those people who think that Dean should go to hell, and that Sam should follow him and turn it upside down to get him back out. But. This episode made me actually think something similar as you, what if Dean comes back out of hell, but he isn't human anymore, but a spirit or a demon? That would really suck. I'm hoping the writers see that the same way.

Oh Winchesters, what you do to me. :/

Whatever it is, they do the same thing to me.

Okay, if Dean went to hell and Sam would be all kick-ass and getting him out, same old Dean, I can deal with that. But I love Dean the way he is, and I'm afraid if he was a spirit or demon or whatnot, it'd make him different. :/ SIGH. Why must I get so invested in TV?! :P

well--- what powers exactly? he's said it himself, he hasn't had a vision since the YED bit it, and that was his main 'power'.

also, I really want Dean to go to hell. ( or Sam, but that doesn't have to happen in canon, I'm working on that myself. ;) )

I have a theory that all the special children have the same powers, or the same potential, at least, even if they all started out differently. But Ava had the visions like Sam and later could control demons. Jake started with super strength and later gained mind control, Andy started out with mind-control and with some practice was able to send visions. And Sam has shown signs of telekinesis twice (once in the closet and once as a baby). John!demon taunted him with it but knew Sam couldn't do it (yet?). But since Sam never wanted them, or explored them, he got stuck at the vision stage.

Dean and him discussed before how the visions (with the exception of the ones in Home maybe) all had to do with the demon, some might even have been deliberately sent by him/it. It makes sense that they'd be gone after the demon's dead. However, I think whatever the demon did by feeding Sam his blood is not so easy to get rid of. So yes, I think the potential's still in Sam. And from a story-telling view it makes more sense, too, psychic powers are ( ... )

oooh that sounds interesting. I like your take on it. also, yes, I would like it if they didn't completely leave that part out of it now that the YED is gone, it would be --- a little weird and annoying, since it's been such a big part of the show.

yeah! The working title is 'Sam goes to hell'. :p

Exactly, it'd always feel like something only half finished.

yeah! The working title is 'Sam goes to hell'.

Whoo! Maybe I won't have to write my Sam goes to hell story, then. :P And what a fitting title.
