EW.com features Justin twice in in their "'SNL': The 15 Best Music Skits" gallery, for
The Barry Gibb Talk Show and for
Dick in a Box I tried watching the EMAs, but after five secons of Snoop whatever-he's-called-these-days I had to change the channel. It's not like it's really European Music Awards anyway, more like US Music Awards in Europe. Of course US music is popular in Europe, but there already is a show for that. Why bother flying in the host, the nominees, the performers, and the presenters? I ended up voting for Tokio Hotel in the best band category because they were the only European band nominated.
Okay, so I tuned in a few times later, anyway. Nothing to get excited over. Dave Grohl was cool, but I already knew that. What's up with the emo boys? They wore almost no make-up. Apparently the audience was casted, too. Whoever screamed the loudest got a ticket. Or so a few girls told a local Bavarian tv channel. Or maybe that was only for the My Chemical Romance performance. Which was bad, if you ask me. Even Tokio Hotel was better, gallons of water coming down and drenching them in seconds, wow. Not as much as a catastrophe as Amy Winehouse, though. I kept thinking someone please fake a blackout and drag her off stage.
I love the annual listeners' charts of my radio station. The top 10 are always almost the same, just a different order. And Stairway to Heaven (Zeppelin rules! *g*) is always number 1. Except for when they change the rules and count which band/artist has gotten the most votes, like last year, or something. But it's not only that, you always hear so many great songs that are never played on the radio anymore. Especially the really long ones, like Deep Purple's Child in Time or Pink Floyd's Echoes, or the whole Another Brick in the Wall. Or the 16-minutes version of Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. They played the short version in the charts (apparently there were some time issues), but the long one later.
My current wallpaper is really not good for my getting enough sleep. It has a manip of the Js being all snuggly. Every time I close all my windows to turn off the computer I see that and I just need to read another story. Cuddling is my current kink of the moment. There should be more cuddling in stories. And spooning.
ETA: I have a Padalecki on my tv! Unfortunately, it's Room 401, but still. He's allowed to talk English (with subtitles) even.
ETA2: Changed the icon. I couldn't help making it.
