(no subject)
spent today napping and doing chores for my mum, and i actually just got excited to find a dime in the washing machine (a very clean dime at that). also cleaned the kitchen floor and then realized what an opporitunity literally lay at my feet: to slide around on it in my socks, whilst chatting on the phone to a gloomy friend in seattle. i just realized that my efforts to cheer him up paled to the simple action of sock-gliding across the kitchen. i shouldve recommended that instead of any usual affirmations.
tomorrow i start working again....again with the early morning music and lattes, slow arrival & fittingly fast departure, and a general complacency that yes, it will soon be okay again to buy records, films and snobby beer.
i have more to say but not now...and maybe not on here. its too good for print.
