And you're a registered Republican why? Sounds like you got most of your facts straight out of the moveon.org/Michael Moore handbook LOL. Believe it or not, many people, probably a majority, believe that abortion is wrong...that killing a living fetus that is attached to your uterus, clinging to life, depending on you for its total sustenance...is completely, hideously wrong. Airbrush it any way you like it, abortion is ugly. Whether you want to blame some mythical lack of "sex education," lack of free Trojans, fault the mother for not using protection, or for yes, not abstaining from sex (oh my god! abstain from sex? you must be joking?), if you're going to abort your baby...many people aren't going to be very sympathetic. I'm not saying that's the main issue that turned this election, but for Kerry to play this charade of being a true Catholic, yet go staunchly against one of the most serious issues of his "faith" gave the appearance to many people that he was a charlatan and held Democratic Party beliefs higher than those of his supposed "faith," among other questionable character traits about the man. I seriously doubt any judges are going to be appointed that will overturn Roe vs. Wade, that's more ultra-liberal propaganda that is continuing even after the election's over. So continue on with the baby-killing.
Many other issues Bush ran on...especially tax reform...were very important to people. We also remember the way he handled 9/11 and I doubt anybody else could have handled it any better. Holy shit, I still picture Gore in office if that had happened, that pansy. The Taliban would probably be in Mexico now. Of course Al Qaeda probably is, but that's one more reason people wanted Bush in office to finish the job. I want Bin-Laden's head on a fucking plate and I want Bush to have the satisfaction of seeing it.
Speaking of Bin Laden, I'm amazed that nobody's talking about this video he released a few days before the election that threatened any state that voted for Bush. That alone was certainly one more reason for me to vote for Bush, since he was obviously trying to scare people into voting for Kerry. I don't think Kerry/Edwards used Osama in their ads though from what I remember LOL. Although he could have some hush money on the way to fund Michael Moore's next project. ;}
Ah well, I'm proud to say my red state certainly has a big Bin Laden target on it now. Gee, the threat didn't work like it did on Spain did it Bin Hidin'? And poor little Arafat, lying in his deathbed. Tough week for terrorists, eh? ;}
