* HOLY CRAP! There's a MicroSD-to-MemoryStickDuo Adapter that has TWO slots in it! And it's apparently PSP compatible too! I wonder how it works? I presume when it saves data, it doesn't split the data it between two cards, right? This site has some information on it, but hmm... I don't know if I want to dedicate two MicroSD cards to this adapter ( Read more... )

On PSP:
1. DealExtreme has the PhotoFast adapter for less, including free shipping. If you don't mind waiting awhile, anyways (Usually takes 1-2 weeks to receive). I have one, and am waiting for 16GB Class6 MicroSDHCs to come down in price (currently $50 each on Newegg).
2. The 2Ks are EXTREMELY easy to hack. Don't even need a Pandora Battery anymore. Follow this info
here. Dunno about 3Ks, but I'd prefer a 2K over the 3K, due to the interlacing of the 3K's screen (I'd say it's a worse side-effect than the 1K/2K's ghosting).
3. The homebrew app, RemoteJoyLite, allows you to take screenshots/video on your PC through the USB port, regardless of PSP model! An animated GIF I made from PangYa: Fantasy Golf:

PSP1: Well I read that the PSP phats (PSP-1000) have a problem with the double-microSD adapter; apparently the phats are a little stronger with their electricity versus other models, and can short out the adapter. I don't think it's worth the risk much, and so I'm probably just gonna get the single adapter. I also found some cheap memory at Amazon.com, so I think once I get the card and some extra microSD cards, I'll be set. Best of all I found this cute little card holder at Daiso for $1.50; I can get one or two more of them and be able to hold all my cards, and I'll be even more set. :D ( ... )

I can't understand why the 1K would output more power to the MSPD slot than the 2K or 3K would. I think there's a standardized amount of voltage used for MSPD slots, universally.

I've seen some photos of the PSP Go... it has the same interlacing as the 3K does.

There's the GEN line of CFWs, which go past 5.00 and also are (somewhat) compatable with 3Ks and 2Ks with the TA-88v3 mobo (older exploits won't work on the 2K with the v3 hardware). But, really, there isn't any reason to upgrade... at least not until Dark Alex releases a new CFW (which probably won't be until PSP Go is out).
