HSP at work

Today I really had an odd and slightly scary experience at work. I had a rather difficult week at work, I don’t know, I think I just lost my calmth which I had developed since I stopped drinking coffee (that toxic is so fucking addictive! *curious* i've never heard of HSP before. it sounds interesting. what's the title of the book? perhaps i'll check it out.
sorry your week has been rough; hopefully the next will be better.
and i know what it is to be madly caffeine-dependent (my crutch is tea, though). but i'm a uni student, i can't stop at the moment. ^^;;

The book is called "The highly sensitive person - How to thrive when the world overwhelms you" and is written by Elaine N. Aron.
For now I'm glad I have weekend! Thanks.

Thanks for your comments... I'm gonna have to tell someone to stop me from going crazy.. but for now I'll just let it stew a while longer.

I'd be worried if I read a book like that that I'd somehow relate the symptoms back to me (like I was saying in my post about stomach ulcers) and become convinced that I had HSP!

Yay for Radiohead references ;)

For me reading that book was like "Hey, that's me alright!" and I actually thought it was pretty normal. Now I know why people sometimes don't really understand me... But I understand very well what you mean, very well... there are some things I shouldn't read about, otherwise I start to believe it as well. For now I'm just telling me not to be silly :)

Take your time, but not too long. Hail to Radiohead references :)
