Marathon Writing
So... 3 essays in 2 days. Kinda hurts, but always fun. Especially since I took Monday off for reasons of somnolency. Soon as I finish this one, I'm done with essays for the week. Then I'll just have French HW and a Writing Exercise Extravaganza!
Yeah, so I just discovered a program called BUNAC... and I've decided that if I enjoy my year abroad, I'm going to apply for a BUNAC UK work permit when I graduate from Cornell. For the low, low price of $590, plus $460 of travel insurance, plus cost of living and transportation, I could live and work in Ireland for 4 months, then England for 6 months, then come home. It seems a little bit silly to continue spending money instead of earning it after college, but it's supposed to be a great resume-builder... not to mention an opportunity to find a real British career so I can live there for good. I think that since I'll be working on paying off student loans by then, I'll see if I can get it as a 21st birthday/graduation present from my dad. That would be the rockinest thing alive.
I think I become more anglophilic as time goes on. I've begun to watch Jonathan Creek to fuel my Alan Davies obsession. I found a London celebrity-spotting website and I think more people run into him than anyone else. I will now sacrifice a virgin to the statistics/probability gods for them to grant me the boon of crossing paths with my favorite "notty straw-bry".
Eddie Izzard has also spent quite a lot of YouTube time on my computer screen. It's ridiculous. But luckily, this week promises to be so sleep-deprivingly-busy that I won't have much more time for internet videos.
