It appears I have been spared from this lunacy unlike several of my loved ones. I trust D, Walter and Captain Bernadotte are faring well today. Hm. You should aid Miss Lang, D, if you no longer feel compelled to embrace everything at your reach. I will not tolerate damage in my property, curse or not. I prefer to end the peaceful day without unpleasant surprises. Admittedly, to see the sky so blank and empty feels quite unnerving and unnatural; not a single cloud at sight and yet is a bottomless mantle
I will go for a walk, purchase a brand-new box of cigars and wait until midnight to see the stars appear again. That should make this weekend actually worthwhile.
