Spike liked this job; he liked it a lot. He liked that he got a little piece of paper with everyone's problems written down on it. He would have loved a clipboard, too, but those had not been invented yet. He liked the shadowy hallways without much sunlight, having the freedom to pick on troublesome patients, and that he got to decide just who those lucky few were.
He also really liked that this one was on the to-do list for today. Had it coming, he did. Almost put him in a good mood. And if the sod was already chained up and missing dinner who cared? It was not going to change his plans for the evening. Annoyingly they did not end with eating Vegeta since he apparently was not allowed to do that here but that was beside the point. Hurting was still on the menu though.
He looked unreasonably cheerful as he slammed the door open. "Seems like you're in a bit of trouble, mate. Really, I'm just here to help." He said with completely unconvincing sarcastic sympathy.
