Summary: Cross' stubborn apprentice decides to pay his Master a visit.

Of course Allen knew that his Master wasn't feeling well and who could blame him? The old man's young apprentice understood that even his seemingly infallible Master had his limits. This only seemed to confirm in Allen's mind that Cross was truly human, though he was still slightly confused as to how the General could drink so much in one sitting.
The errant thoughts caused him to smile despite his worry, forcing himself to calm down. Things were looking bad for them and they had lost more ground than they'd gained since he'd last saw his friends. He refused to let that bring him down and he wanted to speak with each and every one of those he'd worried after whatever had happened to put him in that room. Whether his Master accepted the notion that Allen had gone home or not, the younger Exorcist knew he had to tell the General about what had happened while he was gone.
Spotting the door to Cross' cell, Allen straightened his shirt as best he could. He already looked like a mess but at least the shower he'd had earlier that morning had done a bit of good. Raising his hand, he rapped on the door then slowly opened it. Once it was open enough, he poked his head inside, bracing himself for whatever he might see. "Master...?"
