It was amazing how someone could get through practically anything if they were stubborn enough.
In fact stubbornness and maybe not just a little bit of a lack of common sense that had gotten Yuffie this far at all. Gods knew her brain wasn't attached at the moment. She floated in and out of being rational and even swapping between languages occasionally. It was disorienting and strange and maybe she should have stayed in her room after all. Maybe next time she should listen when people told her to sit down. Or lay down. Or stay put. Okay. Listening was a good idea. She'd have to remember that next time.
Yuffie was trying to use the wall for support mostly. It was a very nice sturdy wall and stayed put when the rest of the hall moved around. And it wasn't as hard on her ankle. She'd bound it, and it wasn't hurting too bad. Her ribs had been worse even recently so it wasn't like she couldn't handle it...it just made her have to stop and breathe occasionally. And yelling was a bad idea. But at least it hadn't hindered her movement too badly. She'd been able to tie up her sheet (what remained of it after binding her ankle and her head) into a sort of dress. It was decent enough, and longer then her normal clothing back home, so not as bad as it could have been really.
As it was, she had a mission and the great ninja Yuffie was not one to turn down missions. Not ever. Even self imposed ones. She wanted to find out what was the truth behind all of this and Rin was right. Very right. Talking about it over the intercoms wasn't a good idea at all. Stopping long enough to figure out what she was doing before walking again (standing on the uninjured leg thanks. She had enough of a mind to do that.) she relaxed herself, careful to be quick about it, but also trying to regain rational. She'd had it earlier. Yuffie was sure she had. So it was possible to do again.
So having gathered her thoughts back together, she continued on.
Finally reaching cell 13 she knocked, calling "Don't worry! It's me!". After a second or two, she opened the door (ignoring the twinge in her ribs and the involuntary wince) and headed in, shutting it fast behind her.
"Sorry I'm here like this but uh.......So Edgey. We need to talk."
