It sounds like you're looking for kidskin leather gloves. I've been doing the same, since I just tore my black kid opera gloves. What sort of price range are you thinking about? I used to be able to find gloves on ebay for around $50, but vintage gloves usually come to women's size 7 or smaller, which is small even by female standards. You're probably going to need a pair of new gloves, and given my research, that will cost you around $200. I will post links later if other people don't beat me to the punch.

Here is the closest I've been able to get to what you're describing. They're black ultra-thin cabretta leather in standard men's sizes - $32.95. The gloves I want are approximately $150. Truly, it's a man's world.

I'd pay $200 for the right pair, but at that price I'd want to be able to go in person to get them sized/fitted/tried-on :)
That notwithstanding, are the $150 pair you mentioned online anywhere?
Thanks

YOu can buy gloves from Madona in Italy. They have up to size 8 and will do custom, I buy in 9 and 9.5. If you can find a J.C. Penneys, Macy's, Nordstroms those seem to carry the right sizes but you need to get them early "in season" or they will be gone.
Hope that helps,
