Introducing, La Belle Epoque, hats and Other Finery
With it's silk outer and faux-fur brim, this hat evokes the old world glamour of the 19th cenutry.
Perhaps it brings you to Russia, and Anna Karenina, or to the fashionable Viennese art scene. It's a great way to add a little steampunk to your every day wardrobe, and will look fantastic with trench coats, peacoats, and cloaks.
Handmade by me, the outer is of silk dupioni, and it is interlined with boiled wool for warmth. The brim is faux rabbit fur, and the hat is fully lined. It will hold its shape even when squished or abused.
This listing is for a size MEDIUM hat, for the average head. If you would like yours made bigger or smaller, let me know and that can be accomodated. Currently it comes in Green or Red silk dupioni, and black boiled wool, but custom colors are available -maybe a luxurious purple velvet, or a stunning sapphire blue, just convo me to make a request.
