Evolution of a Steampunk Outfit

We all know that a steampunk outfit is never "done," right?

Well here's one of my outfits as it evolves over a 13 month period. There's only one major component that's still a part of the outfit from when I first wore it.

I love the way this ensemble evolved. Mine don't necessarily evolve as much as I re-purpose pieces, using my black skirt frequently (probably too frequently!)

Oh wow, it's amazing how much it changed! I love the final outcome though! Mine has changed dramatically, but it's still very much a work in progress... and has been for well over a year.

What a neat idea! I love seeing photos of the outfits people come up with, and the evolution of yours is impressive! Mine has gone through only slight transformations, but now I'm inspired to revamp it! So many exclamation points!!!
