Auctioning Custom Steampunk Costume Pieces for a Good Cause
I hope this is okay to post, but I thought it was community appropriate. I don't do a lot of commissions these days, but recently a young woman, Delight has fallen on some bad times, and some of us are banding together to help her out. One of the things being done is offering auctions of custom made items to raise money.
I'm auctioning off two custom made steampunk costume pieces over on my own journal. A waistcoat for the gentlemen and a corselet-skirt like the one I was wearing at AnachroCon for the ladies.
The winners not only get a custom piece fitted specifically for their measurements, they get to customize the colors, fabrics and notions. And, of course, it's for a good cause.
