Springs and things
I am about to embark on a project. A costume projects and while it in itself is not steampunk, I am sourcing a material for it that I thought you might be able to help me with.
I need springs!
Specifically Extension springs with an outside/external diameter of 1/16" (0.0625")
I will need about two or three dozen in vary length from 3.5" to 5"
These are for a costume, to be used in place of elastic. (that ought to be steamy enough in itself huh?)
I would like to use either brass or stainless, but am open to other metals if you think they would be better.
Now I am a costumer, not a machinist. I would prefer to buy instead of having to coil my own. and if needed, I could go up in size to 1/8" (0.125")
Can any of you talented builders help a lady out?
