Making those Blasted Bloomers

The latest how-I-did-it on my blog is on my attempt to make a steamwenchy outfit  ... these bloomers were my first time sewing with a pattern since grade school ... I've been a freestyle-wing-it costumer up til now).  I know the outfit needs more steam (open to suggestions!) ... but I seriously ran out of time (the bloomers took 4 times as long as I expected, and at least twice as long as they should have, had I known what I was doing!).
