Hi all! I'm debuting a new Steampunk outfit at Youmacon this coming weekend, and I'm afraid I've run into an issue...My gun is a weird shape and I simply don't know how to work a holster for it. (And I need to be able to not be holding it 24/7) If I could get some ideas for a quick fix, I would really appreciate it. (It doesn't have to be perfect, just fast. I don't have a lot of free time to work on it before Saturday.
I'll give a low-down on the outfit once I have pictures of it completed. Pictures of the gun behind the cut.
Here's the gun! Extra Credit to anyone who can help me think of some kind of trigger part...Silly waterguns. Its about 11 inches by 6-7ish inches. Thumb measuring isn't the most accurate though...
(Yes, I am going to fix the really cheesily painted elbow joint at the base of the handle, I just don't have a lot of my craft supplies at school.)
Also, its made out of some kind of nerf water gun (For a reason, it goes with the functioning of the gun, which I'll post about later.) And bits I found in my garage. (The sight is made of two old spark plug covers and the hose is a wire cover from some kind of car. The random spring in the front is from the spark plug covers, I just twisted it out. And the stone charm is from Michael's, I just need to attach it to the dangling chain (Once again, missing craft supplies.)
Thank you so much!
