Bags?

For a steampunk costume, what do you like to use for bags/purses? I was hoping to have something authentic/steampunky for a convention, but didn't know what to make/buy.

I sort of like this, but I can't decide if I'd rather have something that can hold my water bottle or what. Thoughts?
