CAFTCAD Movie Wardrobe Sale May 1st
CAFTCAD is the Canadian Alliance of Film and Television Costume Arts and Design. Its members are film and television costume designers and other wardrobians (like myself).
May 1st will see our third Wardrobe Sale, featuring vintage and movie-related clothing, footwear and accessories. I'm pretty sure that my friend Alex (costume designer for "REPO! The Genetic Opera") will have the remainder of her pieces from "Ginger Snaps III" (set in 1810) there. I'll be there manning the entrance table in the afternoon.
The sale will be held at the Cinespace Studios at 721 Eastern Ave. in Toronto, so if you're in the area you can at least see the place that REPO and the SAW sequels were filmed. And say hi to Alex.. she likes talking about film and costume.
