Friendly reminder to those still holiday shopping

The United States Postal Service calls December 11th the cut-off for International Priority shipments to be guaranteed a Christmas delivery.

So if you happen to reside outside of the U.S., and want to buy from a U.S. retailer, do it now. Express mail outside of the U.S. is December 20th.

Wow....I'm feeling pretty good because my shipping chart for the holidays was just a guess based on the last couple of years' holidays and I was pretty close. Some countries are much faster (ie: Australia who has the best post in the world) or slower like Italy, Eastern Block countries and yes, Canada. Canada is very slow because they've been checking many more packages coming out of the US since 9/11.

Well I suppose when Amazon tells me my package will arrive approximately Jan 5th 2010 and it got here yesterday... I'm impressed =)
