Steamwitchery, Part II
Hi again folks! Wow, I am blown away from y'all's response to my work - thank you so much! Rather than addressing the same question over and over in comment, I figured it would be easier to post here, and show you today's work, "Tess Tinker" - a dupioni dark blue silk hat with a good mix of both steam and punk with the witchery :) You guys are seeing it first.
Now the questions:
Do I have a store? Yes and no. I've been selling my work through my websites, http://www.meddevi.com and http://www.darklydramatic.com for years, but the former is in desparate need of an overhaul, and in addition, I've been focusing on a new line of work under the title of Owl*Key*Me (which will be at http://www.owlkeyme.com) - and I created an etsy store this past august under owlkeyme, but I have had the mixed blessing that pretty much as soon as I've created the work, it has found a home before I can get it up on etsy, whether from my facebook postings, or at shows (as I do a lot of festivals/events). I don't expect to be able to finally get stuff up on etsy until November at the soonest.
BUT, I do custom orders all of the time, and you are more than welcome to add me on facebook (Laura Tempest Schmidt - just be sure to note that you're from steamfashion). And I do have some gorgeous purple silk - a more subtle Victorian type of purple, and a riotous explosive purple ;) As well as many other colors. Pieces this size sell between $45-$75 on the average, plus shipping to anywhere, depending on how complex they are. Each one is totally handmade and different, with fine and often vintage materials. If you're looking to get one for Halloween, orders place this week can definitely get to you in time within the US (I average about 2-3 weeks for custom orders).
