A Golden Top Hat
I didn't let a lack of buckram or pattern stop me, and this is the first top hat I've made from scratch.
It's a percher, and I'd appreciate some suggestions on how to keep it on my head!
I made this from items I had around the house: a gold jacquard tablecloth, a foam mat, paperboard, aluminum wire, and embellishments from eBay, a local fabric store, 2 different garage sales and a Godiva gift basket. =)

Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep it from falling off my head? It's not a super mini hat, and I have fine hair, so I'm not sure combs would keep it in. (I plan to wear this hat tilted slightly forward).
