Darwin's Birthday 2/8/09, Central Texas
What's That?
A handful of folks showed up at the Texas Memorial Museum to the Darwin Birthday Party at the Texas Memorial Museum; I had fun editing the random anti-evolution pamphlets left around the museum and redistributing them, LOL. Only got *one* question if I was uncomfortable, didn't manage to get a pic of another friend that showed up as the 70s doctor who (and fit right in w/ the rest of us). We had a little picnic on the front steps; my husband's raygun was told to be put in the trunk of the car by the police, while the giant serated breadknife could stay. not sure about that one. We were asked repeatedly if we were "in a play or somethin'". There were some other folks from seaholm_steam that showed up, but they didn't take part in the picnic and photo session.
