Random Question(s) on clothes making
Right, new person here, but I'm starting to be really interested in the Girl Genius type steam-punk type clothes for next D'con....:grins:
I have a random question, however, for those of you who might make clothes...It seems like a lot of the garments are fitted and such, does anyone have any suggestions for designing a model/mock-up for the fitting? I don't know as I can afford a true mannikan (?sp), but I know I'll need something like. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for resources for patterns, generally for a plus size woman....:D
But yeah, tempted to design an entertainer type personality to go with the clothes, it's very tempting, although I know very little about the style...:grins: So, beg pardon if I came off as rambling, this is how I think...:D
