Maybe we can start a sister group on LJ? Y'think? I'd definitely join - I get very sad when I see all these cool events going on in other states, it'd be fun to maybe start gathering steam (har har - I promise that pun was completely accidental) for something of our own.

Yeah, if the Myspace group people are amenable to it, we can just crosslink in the community info, like "Here's our sister group on Myspace!" and then they can do the same for us there. That way we get wider coverage overall, and both groups stay in touch (and there's not really any competition, just different venues of the same group for different people).

(Oh, and I did try michigan_steampunk first, but it was like, 2 letters too long for LJ's character limit.)
