Another long time lurker, first time poset
Hey guys, another lurker here coming out of the shadows for a few reasons:
1) I live in the Los Angeles area and was wondering if I could pick the brains of any other local Steampunks as to good locations for clothing/gear. I've been thrift store bouncing and searched around China Town but to no avail. Please help!
2) I'm currently working on a few Steampunk guns/props and I was wondering what paints some of the more seasoned converters have been using for their stuff.
3) Shameless self promotion: A few years ago I, with some help from my roomie at the time, put together a costume for a LARP we were doing. Currently I'm working on the Mk.II version, but wanted to post some of the pics up here. Its based on a creature from the D&D setting, Iron Kingdoms.
