Woah! Who hasn't posted in a month? ME.
But I am sick and unable to talk right now, so I might as well type.
Things are a combination of great and hectic. The rest of winter break was nice. Hung out with people a lot, read a few books, watched a few movies. Didn't get any thesis work done. Did work for MTA a little at the end, which was good for them (landscape plan, done!) and good for me ($$$!). Alan and Avi (and Avi's dog Andie) drove up to CO and stayed for two nights before we all caravaned up to Walla Walla.
Upon arriving in Walla Walla, life hit me like a hurricane, as expected. Busy busy busy. I spent the first few days before classes started hanging out with Stephen almost nonstop, which may sound like too much time to spend with one person, but wasn't at all. His parents came to Walla Walla the day before classes started and took us wine tasting. A good end to winter break.
Classes are excellent. I'm taking 18 credits though, which may be a little much for a senior attempting honors and attempting to have a social life and a boyfriend and sanity. Good classes though: The Fairytale, Sociology of the Family, Bodies in Contemporary Art, Beginning Ceramics, and Honors Thesis.
Steve and I have been spending a ridiculous amount of time together, which is probably good and bad for us. Good for us personally and emotionally and good for our relationship, but not good for the rest of our friends or for my productivity. BUT, I can say with confidence that this is unequivocally the best relationship I've ever been in, so the time has certainly not been wasted. And, admittedly, I have been just as unproductive this weekend while he's been gone debating.
It will be interesting to see how everything balances out.
