Title: Stargazing

AN: A follow-on from this Becker/Connor drabble. Also fills the Anticipation square on the Primeval Bingo card

The night was cold and clear and very beautiful. Connor lay back and watched the stars. Camping wasn’t so terrible, after all. He’d narrowly avoided gutting a fish and every stone in Scotland seemed to have gathered under his sleeping mat but these were small things.

Becker finished clearing supper. “Enjoying the view?”

“Yeah,” replied Connor, “Although the speed light travels means--“

He was cut off by a hand over his mouth.

“Shut up,” ordered Becker

Connor made a muffled noise that could - hopefully - be interpreted as ‘make me’.

“Incorrigible,” said Becker and replaced his fingers with his lips.
