Well, I called the General Manager in Largo today to see if there were any positions open up there so I could hopefully transfer (the amount of vacation time I get at my job is too much to let go so soon). I thought it was going to be a huge hassle, but she said that, according to the glowing reference my General Manager gave me, I was guaranteed

yay for you and your job! that's great news and it must be reassuring to know that you will have work when you and robb move to st. pete. how far away are you moving from your current place? i am dying to go down to florida with josh and meet his family and friends...i'm hoping that we will come down sometime this year, even if it's just for a few days (it's not like i have any vacation days yet with my new job and all, but i could probably take a long weekend or something). good luck with the apartment hunt- i'm sure you'll find something great.

thanks! we will be moving about 45 minutes north from where we are now. it would be so great if you guys could come down! i know we'll find something, it's just a pain in the ass right now because the only days i have to go up and look are sundays and mondays and that seems to be when the hurricanes like to hit....bastards...

i am happy for you, that is great! i know we hardly ever even talk anymore so its like not really fair that i should feel bad, cause st pete is so much cooler than here, but seriously i will miss you guys. so part of me is happy for you and then a small part of me is wishing things would be the way they were like 2 years ago... i guess ive been really missing those times... hanging out, taking pictures, making that poster we never finished, you putting that flute in my face and freaking me out that one time i was really high and laughing in a rather evil tone... all of that... i miss having that feeling, like something special was going to happen. everytime i would come over i'd learn something new.. mostly music and stuff about bowie. i mean i know we'll keep in touch and stuff, but it will suck not having you really close... then on the other hand it's probably only a 30 minute drive from here anyway. and i'm prolly just like being hormonal, wait i know i am cause i am so about to cry.. but really i'll miss you.. you are so one of

You have a particular area in mind? Ive been hunting and a good friend has been hunting too. There are some places I'd like, nice with low rent, that I could suggest, but was wondering where you'd like to wind up around these parts.

pretty much the only areas i would consider living in are old northeast or crescent lake (unless there something absolutely fantabulous elsewhere). but we have some specific requirements. the main one is that it has to be big enough to fit all our stuff. our current apt. is about 1000 square feet. absolutely no complexes. hardwood floors are a definite preference. i know exactly what i want, i just have to find it. there are tons of old buildings there that have been split up into apts. we just have to find one that's big enough and within our price range. if you've seen anything, feel free to let me know. thanks!

weird...that sucks..maybe it will play in ours? and thanks. with all this hurricane bullshit it'll be a miracle if we can find a place in time. they always hit over the weekend - the only time i really have to go and look.
