Well, I called the General Manager in Largo today to see if there were any positions open up there so I could hopefully transfer (the amount of vacation time I get at my job is too much to let go so soon). I thought it was going to be a huge hassle, but she said that, according to the glowing reference my General Manager gave me, I was guaranteed a position up there, the vacation I have scheduled for next month will be honored, and I will not have to take a pay cut. I could not have asked for anything more (except, perhaps, more money than I'm making now). The only downside, which isn't much of one, is that in order to make the same amount that I'm making now, I have to either be a data entry or IV tech. Apparently, the people who are doing my regular job up there get paid much less than I make. I'm fine with data entry or IVs, but they're the things I've learned the most recently, so I'll either have to learn as much as I can here before I move, or they will have to give me more training once I get there or both. But I can say now that I definitely have a job once we move to St. Pete, so that is good news. Now all we have to do is find a place to live!
