Yeah, so the mandolin thing's coming along okay. I surprised my dad a couple of weeks ago by playing him the song I was learning. I'm currently working on Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, which is not as hard as I thought it would be.
Robb and I have decided to move to St. Pete as soon as we have the money and I find a job up there. I saw this apartment online today that actually had a virtual tour. The style and price of the apartment are comparable to what we have now, but it's about 200 square feet bigger and has a dishwasher. I was actually hoping to find something less than what we are paying now, which is quite possible, and I doubt that place will last very long, but DAMN I would like to move there. We paid first and last month's rent when we moved here, so that will be a big help once it's time to leave.
In other news, Robb and I have decided to quit smoking. It's fucking miserable. Today is day 4 for me and day 5 for him. I have not stopped cold turkey, but have gradually weaned myself down to about 2 cigarettes a day over the last four days. I think by Tuesday I should be down to none.
