salmon swimming upstream

End of a harrowing 22 weeks in ALS dodging chemical splashes and breathing in as little unknown fumes as possible. Picked up new sets of skills untaught in school, turned a handful of colleagues into friends I want to keep and ran rounds to drive away the fatigue from being cooped up in a lab. This marks a stop to my 0700 weariness, after lunch syndromes, 1800 euphoria and the blood supply of a lowest life-form but it also cuts off my supply of loaves of freshly baked bread with homemade kaya, peanut butter and jelly, and curry buns.

Thankfully the Circle line serves me well.
Also, thankfully for Friends (who bore the brunt of my complains and Monday blues) - you know who you are :)

This is but one hurdle.
