my emotional range is way beyond that of a teaspoon.

Today the phone rang and the caller ID was divorce something. I asked my mother, and she said that she and dad were arguing about money so they were going to a money counselor. I believed her, but of naturally, she was lying to me. I just overheard my parents arguing and honestly? It scared me. They usually only argue once a year, but mom was seriously telling him to get out of her house and that she didn't want to be his wife anymore. I even thought I heard something about a girlfriend... but that sounded more like mean taunting than the rest of the conversation.

...god. I need a nice, long, Vivian-and-Meredith heart-to-heart. Mere's parents fight all the time and practically hate each other, and Vivian's pretty sure her mom is just with her dad for their daughters.

Marriages in America today are seriously screwed up. And yes, I am feeling particuarly bitter right now.

On a lighter note,
Today in French that guy was staring at my feet. Um...?

Vivian came over to watch the O.C. and

Sorry. The O.C. always makes me eeeeee.
Overall:
Not the best but not the worst.

The New Era:
STOP REPEATING THE EPISODE TITLE. We get it. Seriously.

Sandy and the cheetoes:
Made me happy.

Caleb:
Is a jackass.

Julie actually kindof succeeding:
I'm actually a little proud of Julie. Even though I still wish Kirsten was CEO of the NG. I mean, please? Julie can be the NG party organizer. Come on, that is so Julie.

The Valley:
Okay, I want the first season DVDs of the Valley. Seriously. It looks hot. I could be obsessed with the Valley.

The Killers:
Are awesome. The end.

Oh, yeah. And the lead singer? Cute.

Seth/Summer:
Are seriously not over each other. Either of them. And it makes me smile. Although I kindof wish Seth had caught up to them earlier and heard a little more of their fight, rather than just the makeup. Oh well, that's scripted life.

'Shipping:
Okay, Ryan/Lindsay and Sandy/Kirsten are seriously keeping me afloat now with all the sad un-Seth/Summerness and ______ness that is Marissa/That Guy From The Yard Whose Name I Always Forget. I mean, that last bus stop scene? Awwwww. Seriously.

Although actually? It was kindof funny when Alex kissed Seth, because there was just this huge collective "ew" from the couch. Funny stuff.

And another actually? Jimmy and Julie are actually kindof cute together.

Lines
Seth's "I have a date" as Summer was walking away was THE BEST EVER. I was laughing for like five minutes afterward. Hysterical, manical laughter.
Also the whole "That was last year. This year I'm eight and three quarters." was awesome too. Seth = love. I adore him. Much.
Duckie wasn't funny.
"We should've gotten divorced a long time ago," was nice though.
...those are all pretty paraphrased.

Next Week:
The SnO.C. is a really lame title. Seriously. Zach punches Seth, Caleb has an illegitimate child? Hmm...

there's spoilers under there.
