it makes me feel so nice
School has been going ok. People wise it's better than it was because I have come to the realization that some people just suck and there's nothing that I can do about it. Classes are going pretty good except for anatomy, which I and probably 95% of my class is failing. No lie either considering the average on the first lab practical was a 46. I managed to get a 51 so go me. Actually I just found out that I got a 95 on my lecture exam so now I'm up to a C and fucking thrilled more than anything right now. Word to the wise: don't even take comparative anatomy and physiology especially if you are not becoming a vet. Quinnipiac is stupid. I like organic chem and econ is still wicked boring. Sociology is not bad either and chem lab still scares the shit out of me. I realized that I'm glad that I only have 4 lectures because if I had 5 like last semester I think that I would be going insane considering I spend like 3 hours a day on anatomy and am still failing.
Last weekend me, Carly, Maria, Kelly, Brennan, and Caity played Bingo at Foxwoods. None of us won anything but it's still wicked fun. After Bingo, me, Carly, Maria, and Kelly went to my house and stayed the night. It felt good to be home. Then on Sunday, we went to Twin Oaks with my parents and then of course I had to make a stop at Ben & Jerry's to get my fix in order to survive until I come home for the home show. Speaking of which, I am sorry to all of you people in band this year for the fucktards that don't give a shit. You shouldn't have to go through that.
This weekend was parents weekend and my parents came up yesterday. I had a performance with Step Squad on Friday night and that went well. After that we went out for ice cream. Yesterday, my parents and me, Carly and her parents, and Kelly and her parents went to the QU barbeque and out to eat later that night. Last night I watched Hocus Pocus and played asshole while having B-Razz and Mountain Dew. Good Night.
I ordered Fall Out Boy tickets yesterday the second that they went on sale and got 11th row floor seats. That was the most amazing thing to ever happen to me basically.
I joined the concert committee at school considering me and Meg are old pros at concerts. I found out that Acceptance is playing with Yellowcard. I fucking love them and am way more excited to see them that Yellowcard. Hopefully with my being on the committee I'll be able to meet them. There's another opening band call The Pink Spiders. They're kind of a mix of My Chemical Romance and Head Automatica I'd say. I like their sound. I desperately want to try to get Fall Out Boy to play here in the fall or to at least have them play here before I graduate. We have lots of money to spend on concerts and stuff so hopefully we can get them. It would totally make my life if I got to meet them and chill with them. I think that I would propose to Patrick and make him sleep in my room. Hell I'd make them all stay in my room. I fucking love them.
Not much else going on I guess. Some people have been awesome this year which makes me happy becuase it shows me that not everyone has to turn into a dick.
