This is officially my 2 week anniversary back school. It's had its ups and downs so far, and I know that there's much more to come. I've decided that having a car, whether it be me or someone that I know, is really bad because on the weekends, all I do is spend money....and not on gas. But that's what I worked all summer for right?
Let's see. I've already realized that I need to lower my expectations for the guys here this year. All of them are just into each other and when they're drunk, all they want to do is hook up with random people. So much for those friendships that I was looking for this year....or at least so far.
Classes are OK. I really really hate anatomy. Is there really a point for me to learn about every single vertebrate? I mean it's ok if I just needed to learn about the human because I will later be applying that to my life later on, but do I really care about bony fishes and teleosts? I think not. I think that organic chem actually isn't going to be that bad due to the fact that I actually like chem....me and my fellow chem sister....Elizabeth Hookway. Econ sucks ass just like it did last semester except more so because I don't have my econ buddy in my class. Sociology is a cool class except for the fact that there are 54 people in it and I'm like one of the youngest people in the class.
Life on campus hasn't been to bad. We saw The Longest Yard last weekend in the annual drive-in movie behind Alumni Hall. Off campus we've gone out to eat, went mini-golfing, shopping, movies, and tonight we're going bowling.
Last night we had a fire alarm pulled at 2:50am and then we were outside for a half hour. That sucked.
We are officially getting a Starbucks on campus and possibly a Subway in the near future. Also, Yellowcard is playing here for the fall concert which I am wicked stoked about considering that I am going to be on the concert committee and we're going to take them to Six Flags Freight Fest and they're coming with 2 opening bands.
Think thats about it. Hopefully school itself will get better.
