Halloween crap

I ended up going up to Salem with Charles, Tina, and Dave last Sunday. The drive wasn't that long, Either way, Dave and I were occupied with our PSPs and reminding everyone in the car that "the bird is the word". It was more fun just walking around and going into all of the shops than going to any of the attractions. We went to the wax museum which ended up being kinda lame. Then we went to this haunted house called Frankenstein's Laboratory. Holy Crap! It was the shittiest thing I've ever been to! Basically we shelled out 8 bucks to walk through a dark hallway to an exit. There were people on the other side of the poorly made walls banging and stuff but not one person popped out or tried to scare me. One guy poked his head out from behind a curtain at one point but he was just in a white t-shirt, no make-up/costume or anything. He just looked out too, didn't even try. We asked the info ppl about it and they had said it was the best one and was rated the "scariest haunted house in Salem." WTF is that? I was pretty much fuming mad when we got out for actually having spent money on that. The whole thing was probably less than 4 minutes long.
When we got lunch they totally messed up my order too. I wanted buffalo tenders but when I went to go eat, they had given me buffalo wings! Assholes! I stole some of Dave's pizza though. He ordered two slices but they ended up giving him 2 whole pizzas. I had hot cider and a doughboy later though to make up for it. :)
We spent most of our time browsing the giant comic shop they have there. We also came across a liquor store called "The Bunghole" which made Dave and I giggle (pics on my myspace page btw). Yes, we went inside "the bunghole", we did not need TP for it though. :P

Hopefully I'll be making up for the shitty haunted house by doing something this Friday after school. I really wanted to go to Spooky World but I don't think that'll happen. Its pretty cheap to get in but its like a 2.5 hour drive and my car is a piece of shit (also gas is expensive). So maybe Trails of Terror or something. I went to that one a few years ago and it was good. They have a different theme each year, when I went it was a zombie outbreak (freakin' sweet). It starts off with a hayride that drops you off in the woods and then you have to walk back. It was a pretty good length too. We'll see.

Still deciding on a costume for Halloween night. Money is tight so its a tossup between re-wearing Pyramid Head or going as Jem (I have the wig, why not?). Any input?

I'm totally addicted to this new show called Ghost Adventures (or something like that) on the Travel Channel. It was on for like 3 hours on Friday. These three guys with cameras and equipment basically get padlocked into a haunted place overnight and try to capture evidence of ghosts. The lead guy is kind of a dick and they all get scared way too easily (not that I wouldn't be...just sayin'), but they actually managed to capture some really cool stuff like clear voices and apparitions and shit. Still like the Ghost Hunters guys better ( Warwick Represent! :P) but its pretty interesting.

Gonna go play Dead Space, then sleep. X_x
