So here I sit, it's 0224 hrs. and I still have to clean my room for tomorrow. Too much on the mind lately. Kind of all started when I found out that my roomie might be the Hannah SLR. NOthing is set in stone as of yet, but I am sure hoping that Brett unloads his things in my room tomorrow. If not...then I have the choice of rooming with a ( Read more... )

Yes, we need to open Paul. As far as I know, I have one room that has 3 people living there. The response from admins on what to do: "We'll see."

And I wish that they wouldn't have planned this move. Why does ACE need to be in Student Services? We don't have anything to do with the day-to-day operations of this campus, therefore we don't need to be in central campus. Leave us hidden in the Manor...students know where we are and we're comfortable there. (Plus I think I'm one of the only student workers who can say that he has his own office...it may be a bathroom, but it's still mine!)

Completely agree on the gallery.

I personally don't think the Chapel lends itself to really having modern A/V equipment because adding screens up front would block the focus during worship and there's really no good place to mount a projector. But, that's my opinion. I WOULD, however, like to see a real sound system, something where we dont' have to operate it from the BASEMENT. Also, something that can handle more than lectern, pulpit, and 4 shoddy lapel mics is what we really need. It would be nice for the Monday/Friday musicians to not have to drag in, set up, and tear down a sound system every time. Ideally we have some jacks over there that plug into the main system with a board in the back of the Chapel that we can operate during a service instead of having to walk all the way to the front and go down the stairs or rely on a remote system in the back that works occasionally.

I hope you keep getting better and have this roommate thing sorted out by the end of the day.
