Gots me one of these the other day:

Off of craigslist, secondhand of course. (You think I just had 800 dollars to blow? Please.)
It's in great shape, though. Needs a new LCD screen, because the one it has is yellowed. Got a $250 lens, and a $60 tripod, and a $60 dollar UV filter, and a lot of other stuff to go with it, too.
Basically got $2100 worth of crap for $350. Well, $540 considering the cost of repairing the LCD on the camera body.
Still not a bad way to go, though.
