Well I guess maybe I should update more than once a year, but life never seems to let me. So here is a quick rundown of at least the last 6 months. My brother Jairus moved in with me to escape living with the rest of his siblings, and to give me some extra cash. July 17 Karen and I got married. We had beautiful weather and everything went great. We both had so much fun. For my bachelor party a group of guys I work with and some other friends (Jeremiah, Shawn, and Karen’s dad Mike) all went out to eat at the Red Garter off I-86 (the one way up on the hill). After that we all went down to the new casino and Jeremiah won almost $900. When the rest of us lost everything we brought with us Jeremiah took us out for drinks and we ran up a $100 tab at the Cherry Lounge, fun times. For our honeymoon we went to Savannah, Orlando, the Bahamas, and Ft. Lauderdale over the course of two weeks. Some highlights were Savannahs River Walk, snorkeling in the Bahamas, and Silver Springs in Florida. When we got back things were quiet the rest of the summer. School started in the fall. Karen started her master’s classes, and I started the last year of my mechanical A.A.S and the first year of RIT. About two months ago I thought I quit Acu-Rite, but I guess they think I’m stiff useful. I took a job at Webber Knapp as a manufacturing engineer making about 25% more than I was. When I went to quit they offered to match the cash and the position. So that’s cool. I have been working at my new job now for two weeks, and I really like it. The day I was offered the new job I also got Karen pregnant (well at least I think it was the same day). We had been talking about it for the past year and decided that it was the right time to try so, tentatively, I should be a dad around June 13. A month after that Karen got a 2004 Stratus. It’s very nice, and I wish it were mine. Life is good, that’s about it…
