housing situation - possible lawsuit?
I really need some advice on this.
Our manager was notified that my housemates and I were buying the furniture etc. of the previous tenants. He apparently didn't have a problem with this. The painters removed (and threw out) all of it. We asked our manager about this and he said we should have left a sheet or something over the stuff we wanted to keep. Our lease technically doesn't start until the 15th. Is there anything we can do, or is this one of those lovely life lessons?
