Same tasks at work as last week. I frequently enquired about the possibility of staying there longer to work but it was last thing Thursday afternoon before I got a definitive answer. Z-- was very pleasant about it, emphasising that she’d found it very helpful to have me working in the office but ultimately there were some candidates that had responded to their advert for a permanent job that were favoured by the manager in charge of recruiting.
