Wed 18/07-Essay & Online Dating Update
That double length essay I started writing the day before the deadline? I got 70/100 for it. Sometimes I surprise myself. I'd been half expecting and half hoping to have srapped a pass with a 50 percent mark. This woman has a brain, woo hoo :).
I agreed to meet up with the man from the online dating site, but that date didn't happen. He sent me a text 12 hours before we were due to meet, asking if we "could back pedal?" because he got nervous. Back pedal to what? I haven't been on that many dates in my life so I get nervous, but I wouldn't cancel on that basis. My phillosophy is you go along, make the best of it and if you don't get on well you never have to see each other again.
So I'm back once again to browsing profiles online. I'm getting a bit disheartened with it though. The guys I like don't like me, and most of the guys who like me aren't ones I'm attracted to.
