This week I've almost surpassed my previous experiences of leaving degree level essay writing to the last possible minute. I have a 3500 word essay to write (on the creativity and constraints involved in consumption). The essay is due in tomorrow and I am starting it now.
Debates on why I haven't learnt and don't start working earlier can be commenced after my deadline has passed.
EDIT at 19:33
I've now got about 1270 words done and more of an idea of what I need to write as the rest of the essay. I am concerned that tyhe essay won't flow smoothly enough and may be lacking critical analysis but I've got another 2000 odd words to use to remedy that potential problem.
EDIT at 22:16
1585 words written of the required 3500. I'll be going to bed shortly but taking my textbooks with me for some not so relaxing bedtime reading. Tomrrow morning I'll be doing more work. May my consumption theory thoughts flow freely from my brain and form a stream of perfectly formed sentrences on my computer screen...
It's called 'positive thinking' people ;)
EDIT at 13:07 Wed 4th July
Just to confirm; I did get my essay finished and delivered to my OU tutor yesterday. As long as I pass, the hours of hard work will have been worth it.
