Peg bar...reunited.
Before we begin, I want THIS.
part one of my recon mission is a success.
I've found the all important peg bar as well as my pens and extra animation paper. Now I can take the pen/tween tests!
I'll be heading back to Atlantis around 5:30 am (ETA 8-9 am) so that I'll have time to clean up before the reunion.
The reunion of a lifetime.
This is no high school reunion...
When I was 13 my mother sent me away to a place called Anneewakee, which supposedly means "the Land of the Friendly People"... it's easiest to just say it that was a 'place for bad kids', a place much like Outward Bound but stationary...
The facility was in the woods of Douglasville Georgia... our campsites had no running water and no electricity (except for the school groups who were allowed electric lights so they could do homework)... during the day we were used for hard labor, repairing, cleaning and stocking the facility...
I was there for nearly 3 years.... and I was actually lucky enough to have a great experience.
Others weren't so lucky... and, because of a few rotten embezzlers and pedophiles, the place went belly up under the onslaught of lawsuits... later 2 of the campuses were purchased by Charter and renamed Inner Harbor...
Inner Harbor has now invited the alumni back for a reunion... it should be interesting considering the number of years the place was open, th enumber of people who passed through it's gates and the vastly different number of reasons the kids were there...
it's been 20 years since I was admitted. Damn...
