so, like, i have mostly two options here. minimalist classification or, the above. minimal would be: feature, documentary, for the one, for my current pride and joy. but, i figure, if i call it experimental, dramatic, and funny, too, they might forgive some of my excesses. u wukk stukk ve rejected. (it will still be rejected.) this is okay. better, really. if they accept it i am faced with all sorts of questions, ethical and legal, that i have no answers for.

i am also planning on giving them All American Food. which will, i suppose, have the same x's, save, it's "short," and not "feature."

neither is a student film. though both were videoed and largely edited whilst i was a student. but i will not insult them.

but why bother submitting them if i suspect their rejection, and am honestly not sure of the value of a hypothetical public playing, anyway? Kafka had the right idea; or, he had the right idea thrust upon him by circumstance and madness. the hidden work. that is ethical, given the state of things. but i am not ethical, and i am hungry. also, because, doing so gives me a small bit of inner security i desperately need when being thought a dumbass by customers or managers.

they're good movies, if you can accept what they are. no, more than just good. less, too, i suppose. either way, whether or not anybody's interested in what they are, well, that's their call.
