There was a plagiarist active in Torchwood fandom who copied stories more or less word for word, only changing names and obvious details.

Most of the plagiarised stories are older SG-1 fics, but there's been at least one SGA story, one Star Trek story, and a couple of sections from original novels that have been identified so far.
